About the Project
LAVÈRA LUXE is a full-featured e-commerce platform designed for a contemporary women's footwear and accessories brand. It combines a premium, fashion-focused storefront with a dedicated backend engine for commerce operations, product management, customer accounts, and payment processing. The platform is built with a modern Next.js 16 App Router frontend and a separately maintained Express.js backend, supported by MongoDB and Mongoose for data persistence. Its architecture emphasizes modularity, reusable UI components, type safety, and maintainable business logic through a modular monolith backend design. The storefront emphasizes visual merchandising, product discovery, category navigation, promotional pricing, and responsive user interfaces, while the backend provides a robust foundation for JWT token authentication, bcryptjs password hashing, Cloudinary and AWS S3 media storage, multi-gateway payments (Razorpay and Stripe), and transactional messaging via Nodemailer and Resend.
Key Features & Engineering Highlights
